COVID-19 COMPARISON DATES EXTENDED

The comparison dates for the Business Grants and Jobsaver have now been extended. The comparison period for the support payments now include:

- the same period in 2020, or

- the 2-week period immediately before the Greater Sydney Lockdown commencement (i.e. 11 June, 2021 to 25 June, 2021).

Previously the requirement was to compare turnover against the same period in 2019.

If you were not eligible for the support payment due to the 2019 comparable period, you might find that the new changes have made you eligible.

Covid-19 Business Grant

To be eligible for the Business grant you must have experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more due to the NSW lockdown over a minimum 2week period (from 26 June, 2021 to 17 July, 2021) compared to:

- The same period in 2019,

- The same period in 2020, or

- The 2-weekperiod immediately before the lockdown (i.e. 11 June, 2021 to 25 June, 2021).

Jobsaver Payments

To be eligible for the Jobsaver Payment you must have experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more due to the NSW lockdown over a minimum 2-week period (commencing 26 June, 2021 to 28 August, 2021), compared to:

- The same period in 2019,

- The same period in 2020, or

- The 2 week period immediately before the lockdown (i.e. 11 June, 2021 to 25 June, 2021).

Micro Business Grant

To be eligible for the Mico-Business grant you must have experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more due to the NSW lockdown over a minimum 2 week period (commencing 26 June, 2021 to 28 August, 2021), compared to:

- The same period in 2019,

- The same period in 2020, or

- The 2 week period immediately before the lockdown (i.e. 11 June, 2021 to 25 June, 2021).
