Update regarding Single Touch Payroll Phase 2
From 1 November, 2021 the Australian Business Registry Services will be introducing Director Identification Numbers (Director ID).
This is a unique ID every Director will need to apply for once and keep forever
When you must apply for your Director ID depends on the date you became a director:
• Before Appointment – if you are planning to become a director from 5 April, 2022
• Within 28 Days of appointment – If appointed as a director between 1 November, 2021 and 4 April, 2022
• By 30 November, 2022 – If appointed as a Director before 31 October, 2021.
